Returns & Refunds

Wholesale lots are made-to-order in small batches, so we operate a limited returns policy. We stand behind the craft — if a lot leaves Kolhapur with a defect, we will fix it.
1. What can be returned
- Manufacturing defects — broken stitching, misaligned straps, leather tears not caused by use, missing pairs from a lot.
- Wrong item shipped — if the lot delivered does not match the SKU you ordered.
- Damage in transit — only if reported within 48 hours of delivery, with unboxing photos/video.
2. What cannot be returned
- Natural variation in leather colour, grain, and texture — these are intrinsic to handmade Kolhapuri chappals.
- Lots that have been worn, washed, or sold to your customers.
- Custom or made-to-order lots (specific colour mixes, sizing splits, etc.) once production has begun.
- Change of mind after dispatch.
3. How to raise a claim
- Email wholesale@rajgangapaytan.com within 7 days of delivery (48 hours for transit damage) with your order number, photos/video, and a short description.
- We respond within 2 business days.
- Approved claims are resolved by replacement of affected pairs, partial refund, or full refund — at our discretion based on the issue.
4. Refunds
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of the returned lot reaching us (or immediately for transit damage where we waive the return). For COD orders, refunds are issued by bank transfer to the account you provide.
5. Return shipping
If the issue is our fault (defect, wrong item, transit damage), we cover return shipping or arrange a reverse pickup. For all other approved returns, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
6. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Once dispatched, our standard returns policy applies.
